About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our Norwich-based team. This is a senior role with significant opportunities to shape the future of our geotechnical projects and play a key role in business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strong client relationships.
- Lead tendering, project planning, and contract management.
- Conduct fieldwork, data analysis, and interpretative report writing.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical excellence.
- Spearhead technical innovation and expand our service offering.
What Youll Need:
- Expertise: Strong experience in UK site investigation techniques and familiarity with BS5930+A2, Eurocode 7, and geotechnical design (slope stability, foundations, retaining walls, etc.).
- Specialization: Knowledge of trenchless construction and certification processes (CD 622, Network Rail procedures) is an advantage.
- Qualifications: Degree in Geoscience, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in senior geotechnical or geo-environmental roles.
- Skills: Excellent communication, IT literacy (MS Office), and fluent written and spoken English.
- Other: Full UK driving license and a valid CSCS card (preferred).
